Study Hall: Enjoy

Hello, friends! Maryám here to share with you a closer look of the layout I made for the challenge of this month. If you didn’t see it, the challenge for this month is all about highlighting fun ways to use the plaid washi tape that came in this month’s kit. We also have an optional sketch created by Kristine Davidson. Check out all the details about the challenge here.

When I got my kit I had no idea of how to use the washi tape but after some hours thinking I decided to put it on a white cardstock and punch some circles and then cut it in half to create some cute garlands for my page. I really liked the result I got.

Here is my final page:

Here are some close-ups:

I hope you liked my page and I can not wait to see what you will create with the washi tape of this month. Don’t forget to join our facebook group to participate in our challenge.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!

Have a wonderful day.

I love shaker cards, and when I saw the beautiful sequin mix that came with the kit, I knew it would be the perfect opportunity to do it.

Here is the card I made:

Here are some close-ups of the card: Don’t you think the sequins look perfect?

Field Notes: Summer Vibes

Hey, dear friends! So happy to be back with you today. For today’s project, I’m going to be using my traveler’s notebook + my main kit, but you can also use the Traveler’s Notebook kit of this month.

I created two-page spread project. On the left side, I put the photo, the journaling, and some really cute embellishments from the ephemera pack. I also added some sequins from the exclusive mix and a few holographic stars.

On the right side, I covered the page with the pattern paper N° 3 and on the bottom part, I added a label from the printables of this month + a holographic sun.

Here are a few close-ups:

I hope you liked this project, and don’t forget to follow us on social media to be the first in seeing the new stuff coming up to our shop. See you tomorrow.

Locker Room: Summer 17′

Hello, friends! Maryám here again to share another layout made using the Malibu kit 2017. For the main element of my layout, I used an old cut file from CK and I cut it on the paper N°8 with my Silhouette Cameo, and then I added some hand-stitching to it.

Here is the result: What I’ve done basically was add a bunch of embellishments around the wreath, then put my photo, the journaling and at the end add some watercolor splatters. You will see the haul of the process in the video at the end of the post.

Here are some close-ups:

Here is the process video. If you have any questions just let me know.

Thanks for stopping by today.

Have a wonderful day!

Geek Lab: Yes is more

Hello CK friends! Today I’m going to share a layout using the beautiful Agust 2017 Malibu kit. This month we have a lot of digital exclusives, and of course, I had to use them!

Here is my layout: I used the beautiful scallop cut file as my background and I backed it with the paper N° 10. After that, I put my photo, I created two clusters of embellishments around my photo, adhered my title and the journaling and at the end, I added some splatters and some sequins.

Here are some close-ups:

I hope you liked my layout. If you have any questions about my page, just let me know in the comments below.

Have a wonderful day!

Geek Lab: Favorite

Hello friends! Maryám here to share a new project using the digital exclusives files of this month. If you are a subscriber you can find them here, or if you are not a subscriber you can them here.

As you can see on the right side of the spread I put my photo, the title and some embelllishments, but on the left side of the spread I decided to create a kind of a pattern paper using the flowers printables of this month.

Here is a quick tutorial of how I did the pattern paper:

1.You have to open a new file on photoshop with the size of your travelers notebook’s page.

2. Now, you have to go to “file” and then click on “place”, in that way you will can add the png elements that were included on the printables folder.3. Once you have the flowers right on the file, you are going to duplicate the layers over and over again. In that way you will create your own pattern.

4. If your pattern it’s done, save it, and send it to print!

Here are some close-ups and some extra details:

The camera is from a chipboard sheet from the beautiful Oasis collection, and the leaves are rubber shapes from Pinkfresh Studio.

I hope you liked my pages and if you have any questions, please put them in the comments below.

Have a wonderful day!

Geek Lab: Don’t give up

Hello CK friends! Maryám here to share a card using the June 2017 printables and some Clique Cuts that I designed this month for the shop.

For the base of the card I used white neenah cardstock. The cut file was cut with my Silhouette Cameo and I backed it up with a paper from Maggie Holmes Chasing Dreams collection.

On the center of the card I put two flowers from the printable sheet that I fussy cut with my scissors. As a title I used a word that says “don’t give up” and at the end I added some enamel dots.

Here are some close-ups to see more details:

I hope you liked my card and I can’t wait to see what you will create using the CK exclusives of this month.

Have a wonderful day friends!

Field Notes: Beautiful

Hey friends! It’s Maryám here and today I’m going to share with you a traveler’s notebook spread using the beautiful June 2017 printables designed by Sheryl Banares, and also some stuff from the shop.

On the right side of the spread I created a cluster of embellishments, and over the tags I put my journaling that I previously wrote with my typewriter.

Here are some details:

To embellish the cluster I added some butterflies, enamel dots, puffy stickers and some rubber shapes.

On the other side I put a big photo with a flower and tiny word from the printables on the top.

I had already used the photo of my spread in another layout, but I decided to print it again in a bigger version because I like that photo so much!

I hope you liked my project and don’t forget to use the AMAZING printables of this month, and don’t forget to check our shop to see more fun stuff.

Have a wonderful day!

Art Studio: Amazing view

Hello friends! Maryám here again to share another layout using the April 2017 kit. If you want to get this kit, just click here, we still have a few left.

For this layout, the first thing that I did was cut a cut file on my Silhouette Cameo. Then I took my watercolors and I used the “packaging” tecnique to do some big watercolor splatters of pink and yellow color.

After that, it’s time to do the funniest part, yes! Embellish the page. I put some flowers, stamped a instax camera from an Altenew stamp that I got from the shop, added some enamel shapes and some stickers from Freckled Fawn.

And for the cut file, I backed it with one of the project life cards that I designed for the kit, with vellum paper, and also with one of the Paige Evans paper.

Here is the result:

Here are some close-ups:

For the title I used one of the words from Freckled Fawn, and the white alpha from Elle’s Studio, but as you can see it’s not white, that’s because I painted it with a gold pen from one of our previous Traveler’s Notebook kit.

I hope you liked this layout. If you have any questions about this project just let me a comment below. Thanks for stopping by!

Yearbook: Beautiful

Hey CK friends! I’m here to share my third project made using the beautiful April 2017 Jellybean Kit. For today’s layout I wanted to document a photo with flowers, so I thought in the flower’s paper that came in the kit.

What I’ve done was fussy cut some of the flowers, and put them on the left side of my page. Then, around the flowers I created a cluster of embellishments, including enamel shapes, some leaves cuts, etc.

Here are some close-ups:

My title for this layout was “beautiful”. I chose it because the flowers of the photo are just beautiful. I don’t like so much to take flowers photos but I this one just stole my heart.

The journaling is about where I took the photo and how much I love that place.

Thanks so much for stopping by today. And don’t forget to document those simple things or moments that we have in our lives.

Happy Sunday!
