The Card Kit isn’t Just For Cards

Hello ladies!  Welcome to our blog today.  I just wanted to share a few projects I made with the Clique Cards Holiday Card Kit.  The great thing about every kit that Clique Kits creates for us is their versatility.  The kits are jam packed with so many goodies that you can create any project that your heart desires.  You’ve seen some of the beautiful cards that were created this month with this awesome kit.  Here are some noncard related projects for you.

I created this simple banner with the 6×6 Oh Deer Paper Pad by Fancy Pants.  The 6×6 papers were the perfect size for this project.  I also used the cut file that accompanies this special edition kit to create the Christmas Tree.  I used the stamp from the kit and embossed with red glitter embossing powder.

The next project was an 8.5×11 layout.  I really love creating 8.5×11 layouts, however, I rarely do.  This kit had me wanting to make some.  Here is a layout I made featuring my boys in their pajamas on Christmas Eve last year.

I painted the “Seasons Greetings” wood vaneer with a metallic green paint.  Then I wrote the journaling on a white sheet of cardstock and messily cut it out.  I topped the photo with the ribbon and doily from the kit.
