Hi everybody. It’s Nicole here, wishing you a fabulous Wednesday! Welcome to the March Pep Rally. This month, we hope to inspire you with the “Hell Yeah” kit. I am loving the patterns in this kit. Seriously, each patterned paper is beautiful. And did you notice the two Clique Kits exclusive papers? Aren’t they fabulous?!

For our challenge this month, we went with an “Anything Goes” theme.

The Pep Rally, for those of you who are new to the Clique, is our monthly subscriber and design team blog share typically held the third week of the month and participants earn product credits-yes, free stuff to do what you love-who can beat that? It’s out with the old, in with the new time at Clique Kits when we (hopefully) have all killed our kit from the previous month and have lots to show off, and we start to chat and hype the excitement for the coming month’s kit. In other words, we party! We don’t leave out our guests-there is always a prize for a hopper who comments on each post and likes and shares on social media! Just leave a new comment for each like and share for a separate entry in the random drawing for this month’s prize. One lucky person will win this month’s Capture kit that is sold out! Get the word out and have your friends join our Pep Rally because they might end up with this gorgeous kit at their doorsteps!

Art Studio: Everyday

Blog Image_Art Studio

Hi everyone. 🙂 Elisabetta here to show you another layout with a very sweet photo of my boxer dog Wampy! ❤

IMG_4416 copia

Since today’s category is “Art Studio”, I’ve decided to play a little bit with Gelatos. I have a lot of colors but I never use them because I’m not a big fan of mixed media and I don’t like to wait for things to dry, but today I decided to challenge myself and be a little more artsy. 🙂

I pulled out three colors but then I decided to go with the pink one and I added some color on the background using the packaging technique! It was easy and it dried immediately. 😉

IMG_4419

IMG_4418

This layout was all about circles! I cut my picture and some papers with the Big Shot and then I tried to use circular embellishmets like flairs. 🙂

IMG_4417

I really like this design. It’s easy and quick, but it’s also very pretty in my opinion!

What do you guys think? Let me know and have a great scrappy day. 🙂

Locker Room: When you need more photos to scrap!

IMG_4372 copia

Hi guys! Elisabetta here to show you 2 pages today! I had a few pictures from a weekend that I wanted to include on a pocket page, but then I didn’t know what to put on the back, so I decided to print some random photos of things that I’m liking at the moment. 🙂

IMG_4373 copia

I found pictures online of books that I read recently, of TV series that I’m loving and I also took screenshots of the music that I’m listening to! I think that it’s important to document the little things too. 🙂

Thank you for stopping by and I’ll see you soon. 🙂

Study Hall: Using cards on a layout!

IMG_4365

Hi eveyone! Elisabetta here today to show you a layout created with the beautiful March Kit! I always love the 3×4, 4×6 and 4×4 cards that are included in the kits and I try to find ways to include them in regular layouts. 🙂

IMG_4367

I love to place the cards on the layouts so that it kinda looks like a mood board. This way I can add a lot of embellishments all over the page and have a lot of fun! 🙂

IMG_4370

What do you think of this page design? How do you use the cards included in the kits?

Thank you so much for stopping by, have a great day. 🙂

Locker Room: You are dearly missed, Australia!

IMG_0133

Hello! Cassandra here and hope your week has been great! I am back to share another layout with the September Capture kit! Love every bit of it!:DIMG_4673

To create this layout, I first chose a patterned paper as the background paper then layered it with a 11.5″x11.5″ white card stock. Then I splattered red ink from Maya Road randomly around the card stock.
IMG_4670Next, I added a few vellum hearts from the Cocoa Vanilla Hello Lovely die cuts pack so that it won’t appear too plain!IMG_4671Then the rest would be layering it bit by bit. I like to first arrange everything so that I can get an overview of my end product and snap a photo so I know roughly where to put them. Though tedious, this has proven to help me make all my layouts more cohesive.IMG_4673All materials can be found in the September Capture Kit:_184304_origThanks so much for dropping by and hope you have enjoyed my project! Yearbook: Melbourne — Sydney 2015

blog-image_yearbook

Hello all! Thanks for dropping by Clique Kits! Here’s sharing a Project Life spread I did with WRMK plastic folder. Love their square format and what’s even more amazing is that in the September Capture kit, it has a variety of square format patterned cards as the ones shown below!

IMG_46561

Using Cocoa Vanilla’s Hello Lovely collection, I first cut a few pieces of patterned papers into 9 squares of 4″ and place them randomly over the squares to add colors and variety to the spread. Love how it looks and had lots of fun documenting my Australia trip!

Hope you like them as much as I have enjoyed creating them!IMG_4662

This One is All About Me

yearbook2

Hi, everyone! It’s Aliza here again, and this time I am doing that thing that scrapbookers always say that we should do, but that we often forget: I am scrapbooking about myself. Not only that, I am scrapbooking positive things about me.

It all began a few months ago, when I had a long list of things to do that were outside of my comfort zone. The anxiety that this list created was not fun to live with. At the time, I made a layout about all my fears. It felt good to just own the fear, rather than constantly trying to be brave.

Then some time passed, and I was feeling good, and I thought it was time to make another layout to continue the story. While it is true that I am not brave, I am a lot of other things, and I decided to list them:

I am not brave with footer

Here is a close up of the journaling. I purposely included some very mundane things, and then moved on to some more important qualities that I possess. I think that made it easier to talk about myself.

So, now it’s your turn, if you’d like. Make a layout all about you. What can you include?

Locker Room: Jody’s Smiley Clouds :)

Blog 4

Oh happy, smiley Friday CK fans!! I’m back with a light and airy layout featuring this sweet & whimsical paper by Studio Calico called Up & Away.  So fun!!   I’m so excited about this kit and I’m thinkin’ you all are too.  The papers are unique and the embellishments are just fabulous!  Like Erica mentioned yesterday, this kit is sold out, but you can visit our Clique Kits store and check out all the new inventory we’ve added…swoon!!

Now, because this paper is so super cute, I didn’t want to cover it all up.  So to keep it ‘light’, I added a 4×4 inch Instagram photo of our Abby, on top of a couple layers of papers from Studio Tekturek, Sodalicious and Studio Calico, then I added a Maggie Holmes Fabric Frame on top.  Next up, the cut files!!  I cut a couple of our exclusive Clique Kits cut files and placed them onto my layout.  The files are “Hide & Seek” and the super cool sunglasses.  Aren’t they fabulous!!

To keep my layout feeling light and airy, I added some scattered embellishment clusters and my favorite May Arts pink burlap string.  I swirled the pink burlap string into some whimsical circles to highlight the words and elements already built into the Up & Away Paper.  This made it easy to not add much more to my layout.  Check out all of the Study Abroad kit embellishments right HERE in our school store.

And here are a few more follow up photos.  The white heart paper clip is from Stampin Up! and the chevron shaped wood veneer is from the fabulous Pink Fresh Studios!  As you can see, I also added some of my handwriting to this layout in small bits.  I used the Pink Fresh Enamel Label Frames to frame out some small bits of journaling ~ August 2014 and ABBY GRACE along the right side of the layout.  I also added some Bella Blvd black arrow stickers from my stash around my layout for some more fun contrast!

Just like the wording on this paper “oh what a beautiful day!”  I hope you’ve enjoyed my layout today!  If you haven’t heard yet, Clique Kits kicked off it’s first monthly challenge this month.  It’s Anything Goes with a twist, a twist of Pink Fresh Studios that is!  Check our the Challenge Post here.

Have a great day everyone!
