Happy days with hot-air balloon

Hello Everyone! Here is Réka and this month I am using the cute Traveler’s Notebook Kit of July for my projects.

Today, I’m sharing my weekly planner spread but before I show it I’ll bring a very quick DIY project.

This idea came from the striped PL card from Pretty Little Studio: Ain’t Life Grand – 3 x 4 Cards, Hello Today. When I saw this pack at first time I thought this was a notepad but after a few second I realised what it was exactly. After I’ve printed the Main Kits’ exclusive printable of July and my eyes stuck on the cute striped with hearts border’s PL card and I knew it would be the base of the notepad. I’ve printed more copies, then I’ve stitched them together and finally I’ve glued them onto the Pretty Little Studio: Ain’t Life Grand – Word Stickers’ wrapping paper. Yes, I love using these papers and the Pretty Little Studio’s wrapping is always perfect for this. Then I’ve decorated it with the word of ‘TODAY’, and the ‘YOU’RE AWESOME’ stickers.  And then, the cute hearts, of course, which I’ve been fussy cut from the other printable card. The last step was to put it on a piece of white cardstock.

The back side I’ve decorated with the Hello sunshine printable card which I’ve printed it on the vellum paper and I’ve fixed it with my sewing machine and I’ve also decorated it a little bit and I’ve punched it, that I could put it in my planner. Finally, I’ve got a bookmark and a notepad at the same time, two in one. I really love the result.

Now let’s see my weekly planner spread. I’ve used the Travelers Notebook Kits’ printable of June for the days and the numbers which I’ve stamped from my one stash. Next, the clouds, which were fussy cut out of a Pretty Little Studio: Ain’t Life Grand – 4 x 6 Paper and I’ve made some cluster on my pages. I ’ve also added some mint mist, words stickers and the little hearts. If there were clouds, the hot-air balloon cannot be missing. I’ve used the hot-air balloon cut file as the pattern and I have stitched this cute pink one, which brings smile in my day.

When I prepared the following week on my planner, I only decorate the borders of the pages, and when the days are coming I’ll fill them in.

Clique Agenda: June 2017 Monthly Spread

Donna here sharing my last post for this month of June using the Aquarelle kit.

First, let me show you one of the tricks I learned along the way. I’m sure I am did not come up with this original idea but I will share it anyway. I use a template as you see in the image, to cut the tiny little squares in my monthly spread.

It’s not really perfect but the difference is not that noticeable, so it’ll do. First, I measured one of the squares and used this tag (it’s quite sturdy so it can be used over and over again) as a template.

Use a pencil (so you can erase afterward) and trace around the area you want to cut. I keep this template nearby so it’s ready when I need it.

Here is how I decorated my monthly spread for June using the kit. (Note: stamp used from my stash and not included in the kit).

Wild at Heart Planner with Evi

Hello Clique Kits lovers!  Evi here, and I have a very floral planner spread using the Wild at Heart collection from Cocoa Vanilla in the June 2017 kit.  I love the rich navy colors mixed with the pinks, magenta, mints and corals in the collection.

I used the cut apart sheet for cutting out the perfect sized rectangle needed to fill the entire space in my MAMBI inserts.  My inserts are from my HAPPY planner 365 but I dislike the disc system and punch holes to put in into my Carpe Diem binder from Simple Stories.

The ephemera die cut pack comes in the kit and I picked out all the lovely florals to add the details to my spread.  I wanted to make sure I featured all the rich colors in this collection on this spread.

The butterflies are also a nice detail in this collection.  I wanted to incorporate the small positive affirmation pieces too.  ‘Dream Big’,  ‘This makes me Happy’, and ‘Memories’ add nice text to the layout.

I added in a few details to my week ahead of time with a pink, blue and aqua colored ink pens.  The rest of the space will be added as the week goes on.  I hope you are inspired by my layout and try a version of your own.

Clique Agenda: April planner spread

Hi! Donna here for the third time in a row this week and I hope you’re not yet tired of me. For today, I am sharing how I setup my first two weeks of April using the Jellybean kit. I used my A5 Prima planner which is my planner for all my design team stuff.

I started by coloring the alpha stickers with watercolor. This is pretty fun to do, just color the letters you want to use so it’s not that messy. Let it dry first before unsticking the alpha stickers so it won’t tear.

Then I cut a strip of patterned paper and adhered to the inner edges of the insert where you cut the holes. I also used watercolor to add some colors to one of the doilies I used in my spread.

 

I turned one of the flairs into paper clip as well as one of the flowers in the pack

I also made use of the journal cards as you here in the image below.

Notice the stamped words? Since I don’t have a nice pink ink available, I used watercolor instead. (The little one decided she likes to turn the poor stamp into teeny tiny pieces.. RIP to my one and only pink ink lol!). Just a bit of water, almost dry brushing watercolor onto the word in the stamp (like coffee and love) and gently stamp on to the surface. The stamps I used were by Latina Crafter.

Clique Agenda – March spread

Hello, everyone. Enza here with a planner spread featuring the new gorgeous March Play Kit. I love this kit to pieces. It is just beautiful. Such happy colors and fun patterns.

I was so inspired by all the goodies in this month’s kit that I decided to make my own dashboard for March.

I knew I wanted to use the Lil’ Bit Lovely patterned paper. I thought the chevron pattern would be cute to create a little pocket. As my base, I used a piece of white cardstock, which I trimmed to fit my Mini Happy Planner (it measures approximately 4.75” x 7”). I then did the same thing with the patterned paper. Since I wanted to cut the chevron paper in half, I first punched holes in it. That gave me an idea of where to cut.

I used some foam dots to give dimension to the beautiful floral piece included in the ephemera pack, and added one of Dr. Seuss’s quotes that I have always loved as my inspiration for the month. I had a hard time choosing the bits and pieces to go in the pocket. They are all so fun!

This is my monthly spread for March.

I like to keep it simple and usually only jot down a few things. The weekly spreads are much busier.

Mood Board: December 2016

Wow can you believe that we are going to be revealing our last kit of the year? This year flew by. We are ready to share with you the mood board for our December kit, titled Wonderland. Think of your wonderland. Is it a winter wonderland, Alice in Wonderland, a wonderland of color, a wonderland paradise? This kit brings that wonderment to you! Hello, scrappy friends! Enza here with you to share my very first post as a member of the new Clique Kits Design Team. Saying that I’m excited is an understatement! The kits are gorgeous and fun to work with. They are very versatile and can be used for any projects.

The November 2016 Swan Lake Kit, featuring the new Maggie Holmes Gather collection, is just fabulous. I’m in love with it! So soft and pretty.

Today I’ll show you how I planned my upcoming week. Sundays are the best days for me to sit down and combine my family’s schedules. From sport activities to dance, school functions and church, there is no way I could live without a planner! Not to talk about family gatherings, especially at this time of the year! I also like to have everything in one place, as opposed to have several planners for different activities. It makes it easier for me to prepare for the week ahead.

As you can see, I also like to make it pretty. The November kit features beautiful florals and soft colors. I mixed it up with some planner stickers from the Pink Fresh Studio Indigo Hills collection that you can find in The Clique store, and some exclusives that come in the kit.

Printables to Planners

This months Clique Kits printables are pretty darn crazy cute!  With the boxes, flags and phrases, I thought it would be cute to use them in my planner since they match this week’s spread.

Yes, I could have just printed the pdf on sticky paper, but I wanted to customize them to EXACTLY fit the boxes in my planner. For this week, I used my Erin Condren Life planner with the vertical boxes edition. I’ll show you how to resize them and also make custom stickers below.

I imported all the .png’s into my Cricuit design space and added them all to my canvas for resizing.

Each box is 1.5 inches wide and 1.9 inches in height so I used the edit function to unlock the proportions and type in the dimentions.

I also made some layer sticker sets to print off as is as well.  Like scrapbooking, layers of stickers to add dimension is always a great way to be creative with your layout.

The best part is that the program is that it fits them on a page for me in such a way as to maximize each sheet of paper. It will print the page first and then it will be ready to kiss cut. Load the print out, turn your dial to custom to choose sticker paper, and it’s all ready to go!

Have I told you how much fun (and cheaper) it is to make your own stickers?!

The program bleeds each picture so the cutter cuts just inside the designs box.

Brilliant!

Now it’s time to have some fun!

See how lovely they fit in those boxes!? Perfection!!

BTW I used bleeds from the designs and cut them out, like where it says “Hello June’. Then I add those to my planner as well!  Adds a little extra highlighted box fun!

On the other side of the coil. I’m off to a good start!  It looks a little bare right now, but if you follow me on Instagram, I’ll show you each day this week how I’m filling it in and adding more stickers as well!

May Wrap Up

Happy Saturday everyone!  Erica here with you today to wrap up May 2015!  We have had an amazing month of inspiration and fun with the May 2015 kit Carnival.

Our guest designer Kate Kennedy shared some amazing projects this month along with the Clique Kits Varsity Team.  I picked a few projects that caught my eye this month to share with you today!
