October Clique Kit’s Blog Share

Hi everybody. It’s Nicole here, wishing you a fabulous Wednesday! Welcome to the October Pep Rally. This month, we hope to inspire you with the “Sapphire” kit. This kit has lots of products from Pinkfresh Studio and we added a few exclusives this month that really compliments the kit!

For our challenge this month, we went with anything goes with an optional sketch.

The Pep Rally, for those of you who are new to the Clique, is our monthly subscriber and design team blog share typically held the third week of the month and participants earn product credits-yes, free stuff to do what you love-who can beat that? It’s out with the old, in with the new time at Clique Kits when we (hopefully) have all killed our kit from the previous month and have lots to show off, and we start to chat and hype the excitement for the coming month’s kit. In other words, we party! We don’t leave out our guests-there is always a prize for a hopper who comments on each post and likes and shares on social media! Just leave a new comment for each like and share for a separate entry in the random drawing for this month’s prize. One lucky person will win this month’s Sapphire kit! Get the word out and have your friends join our Pep Rally because they might end up with this gorgeous kit at their doorsteps!

Here’s today’s line up:

Feel free to hop in any order, if you get lost, you can always come back here to find your place. This month, I decided to play with all kinds of patterns! I love patterned paper. Also, notice how I included a few of the journaling cards on this layout. I clustered several die cuts and a chipboard heart and flair to pull this layout together. Without the cluster, the layout looked too flat…

Supplies: Patterned Paper: Die-cuts: Chipboard: Pinkfresh Studio, Journaling cards: Flair: Clique Kits.

Now, hop along and see what our design team and subscribers have been working on. Don’t forget to check out the gallery on the website landing page featuring our Varsity Team (design team) projects using the October kit and check out the Monthly Kit page for all the details about next month’s amazing Clique Kit “Swan Lake”. Take care!

Plan with me.

Hello, scrappy friends! Enza here with you to share my very first post as a member of the new Clique Kits Design Team. Saying that I’m excited is an understatement! The kits are gorgeous and fun to work with. They are very versatile and can be used for any projects.

The November 2016 Swan Lake Kit, featuring the new Maggie Holmes Gather collection, is just fabulous. I’m in love with it! So soft and pretty.

Today I’ll show you how I planned my upcoming week. Sundays are the best days for me to sit down and combine my family’s schedules. From sport activities to dance, school functions and church, there is no way I could live without a planner! Not to talk about family gatherings, especially at this time of the year! I also like to have everything in one place, as opposed to have several planners for different activities. It makes it easier for me to prepare for the week ahead.

Here is the full spread:

As you can see, I also like to make it pretty. The November kit features beautiful florals and soft colors. I mixed it up with some planner stickers from the Pink Fresh Studio Indigo Hills collection that you can find in The Clique store, and some exclusives that come in the kit.

Some close ups:

One of the papers in the collection has all these little frames that are perfect to add some color and a fun look to your planner pages.

The tiny tassels are so adorable!

I also incorporated some of the exclusive printables that are included in the kit. They coordinate perfectly with the collection.

That is all, friends. I hope you enjoyed my process and felt inspired to use your November kit to decorate your planner. The Clique store also has a Clique Agenda kit and a Planner shop where you can find anything you need to plan your weeks. If you use my code, Enza10, you can also get 10% off your total purchase 😉

Thank you for stopping by. Have a great day!

Field Notes: Simple Life

Hey guys! Today I’m going to share with you a spread on my traveler notebook. My traveler notebook is a mix of a planner, scrapbook, doodles book, etc.

For these pages I’ve used the Pinkfresh Studio washitape that comes in our kit. It’s perfect because I can separate the spaces by day, just using a piece of wasitape.

I’ve also used some things from the Reset Girl collection, that  you can get at the Clique Kits Shop.

At the bottom o my page, I’ve put a photo that I took that week and I also added some embellishments from the ephemera pack, and some PL cards of the kit.

I hope you liked these page. Have a wonderful day 😉

Everyday has a Story

They say a photo can say a 1000 words.  But that’s only if you are the one who knows the story behind it!  When I am scrapbooking, I often have to write out the full story so that my children (and anyone else who looks through my books) knows what this particular photo means to me.

For this page that I created with the October Kit, Sapphire, I had a bit to say, but didn’t want it to take away from the design of my page.  So I created a little pocket behind my photo to hide my journaling.

I added a piece of paper to the back of my page to help hold me journaling tag in place.

The tag is one of the exclusive cards in the kit.  I added a little punched strip to the top and a die cut from the PinkFresh Die Cuts pack.  Then I stitched it all together.

My story is written on the back.

You can also see one of the October cut files under my photo that I layered with patterned paper, die cuts, and flair!

You can watch this entire process here in my video:

Be sure to tell your story on your pages!!

Crazy Fun | Stephanie Gold

Hello my creative friends! I am so excited to be here for an Art Studio day!! Yay!! I started out with a white 12 x 12 paper and used this month’s kit as color inspiration for some relaxed, messy water coloring.

Then I fussy cut out a few of the lovely flowers from one of the pattern papers and added some water coloring to them as well.

I made them each a little bit different so they would coordinate, but not match perfectly. Once those all dried, I began building my layout. Here is the finished product.

Ugh this boy melts my heart. So my whole family is pretty goofy and we love making silly faces and weird voices and just having a good laugh lol. If you haven’t noticed already, a lot of my scrapped photos are of us taking ourselves VERY seriously. 😉

Water coloring can definitely warp papers at times, but I used the warps to my advantage with this layout because it provided some awesome texture and added layer. I also made sure to make use of dimensional adhesive and one of those gorgeous giant leaves in the kit too. 🙂

I really loved how it turned out. Can’t wait to see what you all create!! Much love and a wonderful October weekend!!

Geek Lab: Moments captured with love

Hello everyone! Maryám here and today is Geek lab day! I usually use printables for this section of the blog, but today I want to talk about something a little bit different for me.

I asked to my mom if she could stitch something on my layout, and she said yes! I gave some “instructions” to her, and when she finished, I said that I loved the result.

The stitched look is so cool and also added some texture to the page.

For this design, I only used white thread, but I think the next time I’m going to try with more colors.

I hope you liked this layout, and if you have the oppurtunity, just add some stitching to your pages!

By the way, Audrey posted some videos about how to use your sewing machine on scrapbook, if you want to see her post, just click here.

Have a lovely day!

Traveler’s Notebook Inspiration

Hey everyone! Stephanie Gold here with a Traveler’s Notebook layout that’s sure to either inspire you to create in your notebook OR inspire you in life!! Haha you will see what I mean… 😉

Sometimes I just need a little pick me up… A reminder that I CAN achieve my dreams even if I only make a little bit of progress some days. Today this layout is all about reminding myself to stay focused and keep working hard!

I created a couple little flaps using this gorgeous daily washi tape and some journal cards.

The day I created this my brain was being flooded by all the things I thought I was doing wrong or not good enough, so my “journaling” ended up being short, bold, positive phrases.

How fun are these leather alpha stickers?! Love how different they are!

Remember ladies and gents, YOU CAN DO IT. If you are having a bad day, take a second to remind yourself how awesome you are and how CAPABLE you are. I believe in you!! And if you still need a little extra love, send me a message because I would be happy to help encourage you as well! 🙂

Much love my friends! Don’t forget to check out this whole kit and sign up for the subscription if you haven’t already… You seriously will not be disappointed.
