Hello everybody! Caroli here with my last post of the month, and this time I am in charge of the Yearbook.
As you may know, this section is not only about pocket page style of scrapbooking, but is also about documenting simple life and daily routine, and this is what this layout is all about.
Last week we celebrated 17 years together with my sweetheart, can you believe it? We’ve spent half of our lives together and I feel so lucky to have this man by my side.
I wanted to document that feeling, so when he arrived from work I grabbed my camera and snapped this spontaneous selfie, no makeup, no pose, just real life 🙂
I was so in love with the geometric heart from the acetate card included on the kit (I used it on this layout) that I wanted to make something similar and so I did. I drew the heart on paper and then cut all the pieces and glued them over a piece of acetate, then, I cut the acetate and there you go, my geometric heart! 🙂
In order to complement the geometric look I also made an origami heart, I simply love origami ❤
Something I really liked about this kit was the sequins mix and glittery enamel dots, they were perfect for the papers!
I didn’t think too much about the title, just XOXO! The acetate alpha from Pink Paislee included on the kit is one of my fave alphas ever 😀
