GeekLab: a trip to remember

Hello all! It’s Justt here 🙂 Those of you who are subscribers of Clique Kits kits have probably already seen wonderful printables from June “La Dolce Vita” kit! They’re as pretty as all Elle’s Studio cut outs and die-cuts! So here you’ve got a layout (in rather unusual size for me! I was inspired by our wonderful DT girls 😀 ) with those pretty printables.

Even though this size is quite small for me (yeah, it’s really hard when you make only 30×30 layouts!) but I really loved making it!

What’s more, those printables perfectly fit the whole kit. Ahhh, and those acrylic words! ♥

I’m a girl who looooves cut some small pieces from papers etc. This butterfly had been also cut out from the bigger printable 🙂

The photo was taken this weekend when we had something like a really, reaaaally small CHA in Poland 😀 it was super fun!

Yearbok: Loveliness!

Hello all! It’s Justt here today. 🙂 This time I would like to show you a layout made with June “La Dolce Vita” kit. When I first saw it shrieked with joy!! It’s perfect for summer photos as well as for bright and colorful works, just the way I like it. 😉

So, this layout is about my nephews’ third birthday. They’re twins but the other one is sooo crazy and brisk that it’s really difficult to force him to take a photo with him. 😀

But they’re sooo wonderful! It’s such a blessing that one of them (of course the naughtier one haha) is my godson!

This time I decided not to make a journaling in one place but to throw it a little bit all around the layout. 🙂

Those glitter sticker words from PinkfreshStudio are totally my favourite! When I first saw them I wasn’t that convinced because silver is not my color, I don’t use it very often in my works, but that sticker matched perfectly this layout! What do you think? 🙂

Geek Lab: You said yes

Hi everybody. It’s me again, sharing another layout I created using the June Clique Kit. For this layout, I kept it pretty simple. I used the journaling cards paper as a grid background for my layout. I hand doodled some photo corners and a circle for my photo frame. Also, I added some die cuts, stickers and stamps within the blocks. I was going to add some sentimental stamps, but thought it would be too much with all of the other sentiments from the cards.

 

Here is my layout using arrows to point out some of the things I added within the grid. There’s so much going on in this layout that it’s easy to miss a few of the details.

Art Studio: Life a beautiful ride

Happy Monday scrappers! For today’s post, I decided to play with my stamps that I just received from the shop. I selected three ink pads that matched this month’s “La Dolce Vita” kit and pulled out my Precious Remembrance Shop stamps. We might have a few left in the shop if you are interested. These stamps are good quality too.

Since I wanted to scrap a non-kid layout, I decided to snag my sister’s photo from Facebook. Just recently, she and her boyfriend went to the beach for the weekend and I fell in love with this shot. She reminds me a lot of myself. I love her…

I really love how the circle images turned out on this layout. I used a few of the Mushroom Wood Dots from Jillibean Soup and colored them with white ink to make them pop off the page.

I used a clear butterfly on my photo. I love how it looks on the photo.

Yearbook: Summer

Hi friends! Leigh here, to share my Summer layout. Yearbook is all about using everyday, and multiple photos on a page. So I enlarged a photo of our backyard, and decided on some smaller supporting photos.

 

 

I love using photo enlargements, but often times have trouble designing a layout around them, so I was inspired by a Nancy Damiano layout about the beach, link here. I painted the back of the the clear acrylic embellishments included in the June Clique Kits. Love that your get an entire package of these Jillibean Soup acrylic shapes.

 

 

Above is the 8×10 photo paper I printed at home with multiple photos for this layout. The larger one is 8×6 and the smaller ones are 2×2. No worries about the two smaller photos not being the same size, you can simply trim the larger photo to the same size as the smaller one and mat them on white card stock. No one will ever know!

 

 

You can see how I used foam letter stickers for the title. Just traced around them, then adhered the patterned paper on top and used the sticker part to adhere to the page.

Locker Room: Awesome

Happy Friday everyone! Today, I want to share a new layout I created using the June “La Dolce Vita” kit. I love the pretty papers and embellishments by Elle’s Studio in this kit. Seriously, this is one pretty kit.

For this layout, I layered some tags and die cuts using foam squares to make an impact on my layout. A girl can never have too many die cuts. I used the pretty Jillibean Soup Paper for my base and the sticker for my title. And because sometimes, we need a gentle reminder that “there’s something good in every day” I stamped that sentiment at the bottom of my layout. I love Precious Remembrance Shop’s stamps. I added some white twine to add a little home-spun appearance on my layout.

I love how the labels look clustered together with a few more die cuts.
