Clique Holiday Album Cover & Tag

 

Hello my dears! Previously I have shown you the inside cover of my December Album as well as many of the inside pages, but today I will show you the outside cover of my album and a little tag I made with the Clique Into the Holidays Kit as well.

First up, I layered a few pieces of ephemera and one of the chipboard stickers together and punched a hole in each (some had holes already). I added a few stickers and wrapped them all together using seam binding. I desperately wanted to add those poof balls to this tag so I ended up sewing them together using gold thread and then wrapping the excess gold thread around the seam binding to add some extra gold in there. Aren’t those little poofs so cute??!

Now typically people don’t decorate the covers of Traveler’s Notebooks but I REALLY wanted to decorate mine haha. So I did! There aren’t really rules, am I right?

Now I actually created this cover a LONGGGG time ago and I can honestly say it’s been totally fine!! Nothing has fallen off, ripped, broken… it’s been stacked and in a shelf and opened and closed a ton of times and it’s good!! And I love it. 🙂  The Clique into the Holidays kit is now sold out but we have a lot of holiday add ons still in the shop and we also have the Clique Cards holiday edition you can pick up HERE!

Clique Cards – Holiday Edition

Hello Clique friends!

Marcia here today with some festive holiday cards that I created with the Clique Cards Holiday Edition kit. Unfortunately, this kit is sold out already, but some items may be available for purchase individually in the Clique Store. Be sure to check it out. Ok, so do you want to see some cards? This first one is a 6×6 card using a digital cut file from SVGcuts.com. With the Dear Santa collection I just had to create a Santa card.

A sticker popped up on foam squares makes for an easy card sentiment.

I love box cards, so my second card had to be a box card. This is also a digital cut file from SVGcuts.com. I used that sparkling silver paper in the kit and it added the perfect elegant touch.

The paperclip tree, tinsel bow, stickers and wood veneers are all part of the Card Kit.

What is so cool about these box cards is that they fold flat so you can mail them!

I have one last card to share with you. This one was created using the exclusive stamp set from Honey Bee Stamps that was included with the Holiday Card kit. What I love about the set is that you could use this for much more than Christmas …. maybe even Valentines Day?

The seam binding in the kit makes for the most gorgeous bows!
