Hello!! Caroli here and today I want to show you a project I made using my January Kit Alegria.

For me, scrapbooking is all about documenting life, simple things and also important facts or milestones. In this case, I made this layout for documenting a simple but yet important fact: my little girl loosing 2 teeth at the same time! It’s something quite natural but so important at the same time. Also, we’ll have a good laugh when she’s a teenager and take a look at this pic, LOL!

Here is my layout:

As you can see, I used one of the exclusive cut files designed for this kit, I love butterflies and grids, so when I saw this cut file I cut it in several sizes and colors, I plan to use it a lot!
I filled some of the spaces with patterned papers and left some other empty, and in order to have more color and variety, I put the whole shape of the butterfly behind in a different paper and folded the cut butterfly, I loved the effect.

For my title I used the word “smile” from the Fancy Pant’s Puffy Scrip Word set included on the add-ons of the kit, and complement it using some Bella Blvd. alphas I got left from December kit.

I balanced the composition with the journaling, which I wrote using one circular labels, some flowers from the ephemera package, both included on the kit.

And that was my layout, a simple memory documented for the future 🙂 I hope you liked the idea and use the butterfly cut file too! Big hugs and have a lovely day ❤

studyhall Hi everyone! Sandy Gonzalez (ohsnapgonzo) here today to share with you a layout I made with the January Kit…that’s right January Alegira Kit for 2016. This kit features the Fancy Pants Happy Place collection and the name of the kit is “Alegria” which means “happy” in Spanish.

So for my first layout using the January kit what better happy moment to make a layout with was when I was able to share on social media that I was invited to attend CHA this year. WOW!! I still can’t believe it. Clique Kits has invited me so that you all can stay connected with YouTube and other social media and learn about all fabulous collections to come in 2016.

So for the layout I used the tags, 6×6 paper pad and dark blue paper that are add-ons this month. First I sprinkled the white linen Dylusion ink spray on the dark paper and its amazing..the spray dries completely white. Next I arranged the tags:

Then I added the picture that was matted with papers from the 6×6 pad and lots of embellishments from the kit:

I thought the title of “Who Me” was perfect, because I still can’t believe that in less than a month CHA will be here…YAY!!! Here is the completed layout:
