Locker Room: Naples

Hello everybody! Elisabetta here to show you the first layout I made with the gorgeous August Kit. 🙂

This picture was taken in Naples, one of the most beautiful italian cities! I went there with my friend Francesca in April. It rained almost all weekend (the picture was taken in one of the rare moments when the sun was shining) but we enjoyed it anyway. 🙂

The thing that I love the most about this layout are those gorgeous flowers that I cut from a paper that’s included in the kit. I absolutely adore every kind of flowered paper and I find it so relaxing to cut the flowers and use them as embellishments on my pages. 🙂

Another great thing about the kit are the Fancy Pants bows!! I adore them 😀 this gold is just perfection, isn’t it?

I can’t wait to see what you’re going to create with this kit, I’m having so much fun with it at the moment!! I’ll see you tomorrow with another post, thank you for looking. 🙂

Locker Room: Gallipoli 2015

Hello friends! Elisabetta here to show you another layout created with the beautiful December Kit! 🙂

I really wanted to play with layering and using different materials and textures! My favorite part of the layout is the triangles paper that I used in the background; it’s one of the prettiest papers in the kit in my opinion (and it can be also used in so many different ways). 🙂

This month’s alpha is very cool! It has a lot of fonts and colors and it’s perfect for every layout. 🙂

Yearbook: the end!

Since yearbook is about documenting and preserving memories, for today’s layout I thought about using a photo that was captured on a very special day that I want to remember forever!

It was the day of my last exam at the university. After the exam, I took a picture of the little book where professors write our grades and I sent it to my friends. It’s not a great picture, but I wanted to scrap it anyway so that I will never forget that moment. 🙂

I love the paper that I used as background. I usually work with white backgrounds, but this is a very pretty and soft paper!

I didn’t need much journaling, just a few words to remember the date and the subject!

Those glasses were perfect for a school themed layout! I don’t wear glasses but they just seemed the right choice for this page!!

Locker Room: using the Clique into December kit on a regular layout

I don’t know about you, but I haven’t any Christmas picture printed yet! However, the Clique into December kit is just so pretty and full of gorgeous stuff that I couldn’t leave it untouched for a long time! So I decided to use it for a regular layout like I would have done with any other kit!

As you can see, I didn’t use any diecut or stickers with the word “Christmas” in it and that’s it! I could use the gifts and the word “presents” because this picture was taken on my birthday and I had so much fun searching for some items that could work for this layout!!

All the things you see on the page are from the Clique Into December Kit, except for the title, that I got from the Clique Kits Store some months ago.

I really hope that you will fill inspired to use this kit with any picture that you have and that you want to scrap! I promise you that you will have a lot of fun. 🙂

Study Hall: Borgo20

Hello everyone. 🙂 It’s Elisabetta here! Today I’m going to show you a layout that I adore. As soon as I saw the triangle acetate pieces from the Clique Kits Store, I knew that I wanted to use a lot of them on a single layout, and this page turned out exactly as I imagined it.

I just LOVE how pretty and colorful these triangles are! This design would look great on a 12×12 layout too!

Borgo 20 (venti=twenty in italian) is a restaurant where me and my friends use to go every now and then. It’s a small place but you can eat some great italian food.

Since everything is already so colorful, I decided to use a black & white photo so that it didn’t get lost on the page. The triangles pointing to it also helps drawing the attention to the picture.

The gold little arrows that you’ll find in the alphas set are perfect to use with the acetate triangles!

Yearbook: Birthday

Hello everyone. 🙂 Elisabetta here to show you a new layout!! As soon as I saw the cut apart paper with the 4×4 squares on it, that’s part of the kit, I knew that I wanted to cut them in order to create a grid layout!

I wanted this page to be simple and not too busy. I added just a few embellishments.

Wood veneers are one of my favorite items this month. I used them all and they are perfect for every page! I bet you’re loving them too. 🙂

There are a lot of fun texts on the 4×4 cut parts and they are perfect for every occasion. You can use them on a grid layout as I did, or in an Instagram album that you can find in the shop!

Geek Lab: Today

Hello ladies!! Elisabetta here to show you another 12×12 layout made with the October Funfetti Kit. I really wanted to focus on the printables for this layout. I’ve always loved printables because they are yours forever and you can print them over and over again!

I especially loved this month’s geometric shapes and circles and I thought about including them all in one layout!!

As you can see, I also cut my picture in the same geometric shape and I placed everything in a kind of diagonal way on the page.

For the title, I decided to use the Amy Tangerine’s word thickers that I found in the Clique Kits Shop. I think that their neutral color looks great among all those colorful diecuts.

I think that printables are also great to use when you’ve almost killed your kit and you don’t have a lot of supplies left. As you can see, I didn’t use a lot more than printables: just a piece of vellum to frame the page, some wood veneers, letter stickers and that’s it!! Very simple and fast!

Locker Room: Dream

Hello ladies!! Elisabetta here to show you another layout made with the lovely Funfetti Kit. how cute is the paper with the aqua and pink balloons? definetely one of my favorites from the Kit. it’s perfect for a background because it’s white (I love white spaces) but it also already has these cute balloons that work as embellishments.

the picture I scrapped shows the henna tattoo I got this summer! I LOVED it and I’m planning on doing it again because I really like how it’s not permanent and the fact that you can change it every time.

I had a lot to say about this picture so I tried to journal a little bit more than usual: the top left corner was perfect as a journaling spot.

this is the final page! I like the fact that it’s very girly and dreamy and soft. the colors are my favorite too: pink, aqua and gold! the perfect combo in my opinion 🙂

One of the things that I love the most of the October Kit are these gold confetti. You’ll get a ton of them. they will last you for a long time!!I really hope you’ll feel inspired by this layout. if you wanna see the whole process, I uploaded a process video on my Youtube Channel. have a great day scrappy friends 🙂

Locker Room: New Look

Hello!! Elisabetta here!! I am very excited to show you the first layout that I created using the amazing Funfetti kit! It was a very relaxing and easy process and I really love how it turned out at the end.

As you can see, I really wanted to focus on embellishments for this layout: I didn’t use the patterned papers as layers behind the picture, but as embellishments! How? I simply made them into flowers with a punch and I scattered them in the middle of the page in a diagonal way!

I lifted the flowers up a little bit with my fingers to create dimension and I know that as soon as I’ll put this page into my album, they will lay flat. I don’t care about that, but if you do, you can still use pop dots or hot glue behind the petals.

As you can tell, I didn’t feel the need to add more stuff to the layout, just a few little embellishments here and there, the journaling, the title, some black ink splatters and that’s it!
