Locker Room: Breathe

Hey guys! Maryám here again, and today I’m going to share a simple layout with a big photo, of course, using the December kit (by the way, if you want to get the kit, we have some available at the shop.)

For today’s layout, as I said, I used a big photo as the main element of my page. I wanted to keep that moment when the picture was taken.

I cut two strips of the Pink Paislee Vellum paper included in the kit. I added one on the top and one on the bottom. Then, I chose my title, added my journal, and at the end, I added two cluster of embellishments.

In this cluster I used a cut file like a printable, that I designed for the shop, you can find it here.

Here, as you can see, I stitched around my title with white thread. I love how it looks, because gives a little bit of texture and dimension.

Also, I wanted to show you all of my process doing this layout.

Art Studio: Fourteen

Hey friends! Maryám here with you. Today I’m going to share a layout made using my December kit and the awesome watercolor from Prima that was available at the shop some time ago.

What I wanted to do in this layout was document my favorite things at my age. I have seen some people doing this with their sons, but as I have a not scrapbooker mom, I will do it by my self! 🙂

Here is what I did:

I chose some squares from one of the Pink Paislee paper included in the kit. Then, I added watercolors with the tones of the papers to the background.

I’ve added some layers behind of my photo, and also I put all of my embellishments. Last thing, I wrote my journal with my typewriter and I cut it in diferent strips.

Geek Lab: Family breakfast

Hello CK friends! It’s Maryám here and I’m so excited to be back with you today. I’m going to share a layout made with the December kit and some digital exclusives from Clique Kits.

Here are the digitals that I’ve used:

In the left side of the layout I stitched some hearts from a cut file and then I added some mint ink splatters. After that I started choosing some embellishments and I adhered them to the page. Also, I put my photo.

For my tittle I used a cut file, but as I don’t have a electric cutting machine, I used the PNG format and then I printed the word and cut it by my hands.

At the end I wrote my journaling with my new typewriter. And… that’s was it!
