Art Studio: Adventure

Hello Everyone! It’s Maryám here and it’s time to share my last layout of this month, in this blog (because you can see more projects on my blog).

Today is Art Studio’s day and for me that means watercolors, gesso and paints!

When I started this project I thought in the exclusive stars paper that comes in our kit, so I knew that it will be a good idea to use stars.

I drew some stars with my watercolors. After that, I’ve cut the stars, and I’ve added them to my page.

Here’s my final page. I love how it turned out!

Locker Room: Just for fun!

Hey everyone! This is my second post for this month and today I’m back with a new layout made with the AMAZING September kit called Moon Child.

For this project I started using Boho Dreams – Dreamcatcher paper but at the end I’ve decided to used the white part and back it with some pattern papers included in this kit.

For the title I’ve mixed the Dear Lizzy thickers with the Fancy Pants chipboard stickers. They look really beautiful together.

Geek Lab: Spring

Hello Everyone! It’s Maryám here, and I’m so happy to be back with you this month. Today I have my first layout with the beautiful September kit and some CK exclusives printables.

Here, in southern hemisphere we are in winter, but the spring starts on September, 21th so that is the reason why the trees are with a lot of pink flowers.

I created  a simple layout but I really like the result. On the bottom of my page I’ve added some strips of different pattern papers.

Art studio – I love this right now…

Hello it’s Leeann again with another fabulous project created with Septembers Moon Child kit.

Today we are getting a little bit of medium on. When it comes to using acrylic paint you  can just play with simply designs and brush strokes, if you don’t feel comfort painting the whole page. I’m finding less is more my kinda style. Anyway today it’s just simply brush strokes, mixed with some random ink stamping and scribble doodles.

So lets take a look at my page.

Here’s a quick how too to achieve this background.

Select a color and a thick flat brush and dip the brush into paint and then swipe onto some card stock. Repeat until happy with your design.

Allow the paint to dry, gather some ink, stamps and then randomly stamp.

Add some water color splashes.

Next doodle with a lead pencil for detail. Once happy then scrap your page.

Locker Room – Hello Adventure

 

Hello it’s Leeann here today and I have scrapped a double pager,  I have  a heap of “city fun adventure  photos”. First of all I started out by creating a sketch of the design I had in my head. Once I doodled this down I got stuck into creating a simple watercolor background with some random pencil and stamp work. That’s just so me. From there I cut each shape out as well as  extras as I wanted too layer each circle element for texture. Once the photos were in place I added my title and used those tiny words quotes from pretty little studios. Love them alot! I then finished this double of by adding  the epoxy shape embellishments.

Today I am also using this fabulous kit – MOON CHILD September 2016

This is us in our new city, so many great new adventures we get to go on. I love exploring this city. I get excited every time I go into the city of Melbourne. So do my girls!

Geek Lab: September Printables

Hello! TodayI want to show you a card I made with September Printables. I used only a label and a circle but their color perfectly matched the blue butterfly and it was enough for me 😉 It is still quite complicated card because I rather make C&S ones.
