I LOVED this gorgeous piece of paper in the kit called ‘The Heavens” by Bella Blvd, and it had a little are of dashed black lines on it. I decided to use the stamps to create more areas of black on the brightly colored paper.
I first cut my paper to a large triangle with my photos towards the bottom. Then using painters tape, I taped off triangular areas where I could stamp and create a distinct edge.
I fussy cut out some circles from another piece of Bella Blvd paper in the kit and scattered them on my page. I embellished them with some die cut tabs and the exclusive ephemera.
I also added in some of the Jillibean Soup wood veneers and some of the exclusive die cuts, too.
If you want to watch me create this page from start to finish, here is my process video!
Hello everyone, how are you today? Caroli here again and today I want to show you this layout I made with lots of circles and volume.
If you know me you will know I love circles and volume, I use a lot of 3d embellies and foam dots on my pages, but why limit volume to embellishments and paper? This time I also want to add volume to my photo.
I will start by printing the pic I want to use twice, and also use my good old circle punches.
Then I will cut the focus of my photo as a circle and cut little circles of the rest of it, making sure they overlay in some parts of the main photo, this is very impoprtant to achieve the effect of volume of the photo. Finally, I will use some foam dots to stick the circles and will work on my layout.
This is how my project came out, I love the bubble-like look. Also the colors of this kit are perfect for my baby boy photos, don’t you think he is a cutie pie? 🙂 ❤
I hope you like this idea, it’s so simple but the result is pretty and fun. Thanks for stopping by and see you soon on another post this month!
Hello everybody! Caroli here and today I want to share with you my love for circles. Yes, I do love circles in any size, any design on my layouts, so circle paper punches are one of my fave tools ever.
For this layout I used my good old circle paper punches and manage to make a fun layout filled with lots of circles using our fabulous March kit HELL YEAH!
My idea was to use a lot of circles but keep the clean look and white space on my layout, so I made sure that everything happened on the left side of the page.
I love the combination of black and pastels of Goldie collection featured in this kit. I punched different papers and arranged the circles in combination with some of the diecuts included on the exclusive ephemera set of the kit.
I layered a journal card and a tag from the ephemera behind my pic, and attached everything with a stappler and also using this lovely gold bow-shaped clip, also included on the kit.
For my title I used one circle-shaped label and the alpha by 7 Paper included on the kit. Below it I wrote my journaling. As you can see the pic features my little brother and my baby boy, both are very important men in my life and in this layout I journal about it 🙂
Here is my finished layout, super simple, colorful and fun, totally my style!
I hope you liked this idea and enjoy using some circles on your projects. Have a wonderful monday!
