Clique Into the Holidays December Album

Hey everyone! Stephanie Gold here and I am explodinggggggg with holiday fun over here!!!! I have been playing with my Clique Into the Holidays Kit and even started to put together some base pages for my annual December album.

Now this year… I’m switching it up. I have been having so much fun with my Traveler’s Notebook that I got a new one and I’m dedicating it to December 2016… and today you are going to get a few sneak peeks of my album as I get everything set up and prepared for the Holiday craziness and memory keeping!

This is the inside cover page of my album. The elements are all included in your kit except for the gold chipboard stickers which are the from a Snow & Cocoa Chipboard Add-On in the shop! Click HERE to see all of the Add-Ons available for this kit! I think I will still add the year and maybe a little something else… we will see how things change as December gets started. 🙂

Here is my first page. I am keeping things relatively simple for now because I mainly let my photos and memories guide me as I start documenting in December. This is a great way to get your creativity flowing and have a place to start when all the stress and busyness gets going. 🙂

Page 2! Again, just a simple backdrop showing how my page will be laid out. (How adorable are those trees?!?!?!?!!)

And Page 3! Each page is different so far, but as you will see in the next few that I share, trends begin to form and it all gets coordinated and pulled together. 🙂

Locker Room – 2 Simple and Fast Christmas Cards

Hello everybody! How are you today? Are you done with your Christmas shopping and gift wrapping? As for me, I’m done with shopping and wrapping, but I still need to make few more cards to give to friends and family, so I used my fabuous Clique Into December Kit and started working.

The first card I made is quite simple, I stamped the bear from the lovely stamp set of Christmas Wishes collection (featured by the kit) and then added a little fram and a sentiment from the ephemera pack.

The final touch was some round and star shaped sequins, because everything looks better with few sequins! And that’s all! Super fast and yet cute, I bet you can make some of this in seconds 😉

For my second card I used circles. I punched few circles from one paper included on thr kit and then used foam dots for giving dimension to one of them. Also, I used the little mouse (isn’t that the cutest embellishment ever!!!) and a little sentiment  from the puffy stickers set, also using some fom dots.

Finally, I glued few sequins and little acrilic stars, gorgeous accent of this collection and kit.

Clique Cards – Holiday Edition

Hello Clique friends!

Marcia here today with some festive holiday cards that I created with the Clique Cards Holiday Edition kit. Ok, so do you want to see some cards? This first one is a 6×6 card using a digital cut file from SVGcuts.com. With the Dear Santa collection I just had to create a Santa card.

A sticker popped up on foam squares makes for an easy card sentiment.

I love box cards, so my second card had to be a box card. This is also a digital cut file from SVGcuts.com. I used that sparkling silver paper in the kit and it added the perfect elegant touch.

The paperclip tree, tinsel bow, stickers and wood veneers are all part of the Card Kit.

What is so cool about these box cards is that they fold flat so you can mail them!

I have one last card to share with you. This one was created using the exclusive stamp set from Honey Bee Stamps that was included with the Holiday Card kit. What I love about the set is that you could use this for much more than Christmas …. maybe even Valentines Day?

The seam binding in the kit makes for the most gorgeous bows!

Click Into The Holidays: My December Journal

Happy Holidays! It’s Tyra here and I’m delighted to share a peek inside my journal featuring the oh so perfect  Clique into the Holidays Kit.  I am happy to report that my journal making this year has been a success. What made the difference for me this year?

• A new smartphone (and ample space to take pictures)
• A wireless compact photo printer (e.g. Canon Selphy), which allowed me to print directly from my phone
• Last but not least, the super affordable Clique Kits Holiday Kit, including the well coordinated papers and embellishments, along with an ample supply of pocket style journal cards!

So, let’s get to the journal!

I used a 6 x 8 binder:

 

I created a few journal cards of my own, but kept it simple.   Knowing that I’m using a pocket style journal, I precut a lot of paper to a 3 x 4 or 6 x 8 size and used my tiny stapler to make everything come together. The holidays are super busy, so this journal needed to be quick and easy or it wasn’t going to happen at all.

Here are a few of my journal pages! Literally everything came together fast as I simply remembered to snap a photo everyday during the month of December. I also added my children’s school projects, church and event programs, weather forecasts, and receipts for special purchases.

I’m soo happy with the progress I’ve made.  I’m soo happy I was able to capture December my way.  Just remember the next time you decide to assemble a journal, it’s really about the memories.  Keep the journaling part easy. Clique Kits help make that process so much easier.

Geek Lab: Holiday Cards

Hello, Happy Thursday! I hope you had a good time on our blog share yesterday. If you haven’t hopped yet, check out the previous post and click through all the blogs to see awesome projects created with our November Kit.

Today I’m going to share some cards I created with the Clique Cards: Holiday Edition Kit (there are a few left, get yours before they are gone). I love creating handmade cards around the holiday. I give them with special gifts to friends and family. It adds an extra personal touch.

This first card I played up the blue and greens in the kit. I love how universal this kit is. I was able to create different looks with each card I created. I love being able to really stretch a kit to make each card look like it came from a different paper line.

With this card I embossed a piece of the paper included in the kit, sanded it down to let the white come through and adhered this to the card for the sentiment of this card.

For this card I painted the wood veneer sentiment white to blend into the background of the card. I like the white on white look. I splattered ink on the card and embellished it with sequins, ribbon and the gold border sticker by Pink Fresh Studio (included in the kit).

Guess what else is FABULOUS about this card kit?! I have used all my base cards and still have LOTS of pattern paper left from my 6×6 paper pad and embellishments! This will be great for creating tags and mini cards.

Clique Into The Holidays Kick Off!

I can’t believe I’m saying this already but.. It really make a mini album like this interactive, interesting and sometimes nice and chunky!!
