Hello everyone, Marcia here today with some more cards to share with you that I created with the December kit Enchanted Meadow. This week I focused on the light bulb icons and brainstormed card sentiments. Here is what I came up with …

By layering the project life cards with each other, or with paper scraps I created these. This one will be great as a graduation card …

This one will be perfect to send to one of my kids in college with a care package.

One for my hubby…Using the clip at the top of the card,  I can attach movie tickets or a gift card to a favorite restaurant inside so we can have a date night!

I saved my favorite for last, which would be perfect for any of the guys in my life…

 

And I still have more light bulbs in my kit to play with! That washi tape I used on my cards is available in the Clique Store by the way.

Sparkle and Shine – Using the stamp set

 

 

Hello Clique Kits friends! It’s Marcia here today. I have some cards to share that I created with the Sweet Stamp Shop Sparkle and Shine stamp set that was included in the kit. Since this kit is full of diamond stamps, diamond paper, acrylic diamonds, and even a clique kit exclusive diamond digital cut file, I wanted to brainstorm card ideas (other than wedding which was the first thing that popped into my head). Here are some sentiments I came up with …

“Congrats on the Shiny New Bling”

“I Think You’re Brilliant”

“You Sparkle & Shine”

“You Rock”

“Rock On”

and my cards using some of these sentiments and the stamps…

On this card I printed the sentiment using my computer and  Microsoft Word software. The font is Lavanderia (one of my favorites) which you can download for free. You can find it here … thefonty.com.  dafont.com is another great source for fonts and explains how to install your new font for different operating systems.

Fancy Holiday Cards

Hi everyone. Hope you are having a fabulous weekend. Are you getting ready for the holidays? I’m almost ready. I think. But in the meantime, I’ve been playing with my Clique Kits Cards Holiday Kit. This kit is full of awesome stuff! Ah, I feel so happy sitting here with my box of pretties. I am really loving the vellum paper by Pretty Little Studios and the cute tags by Fancy Pants. The two together make one fabulous looking card. What do you think?

Clique Kits really has an eye for combining gorgeous products to make a gorgeous kit. I am constantly amazed with their kits and you really can’t beat the price! I am really loving the holiday stamps by Kaisercraft too. They added just the right touch to my cards. I can really go on and on about this lovely kit, but I’ll stop right here. 🙂

Locker Room: Simple Card

Hello there! Caroli here and today I’m again playing at the Locker Room and want to show you how to make a simple card in minutes using one of the gorgeous cutfiles from 17turtles, our sponsor this month.

 

When I saw the cut files Juliana Michaels spcially created for november kit I fell in love whith this gorgeous swirl grid, and i thought it would be a good idea to use it for making a card.
I wont lie, I’m not a card person, but I am working in order to improve that and challenged myself to make a simple card using the lovely cut file.

So, first I cut the swirl and placed over my card in order to calculate where to cut the grid.

 

Once I decided my work area I cut the swirl and placed some patternet paper behind it. I used the lovely papers from Lemon Owl included on my november kit.

Although it’s a simple card, I wanted to add some layers and so I did using the gold printed vellum from Studio Calico, also included in the kit. This is one of my fave items on the kit!

 

Once I adhered the vellum I also glued the decorated swirl over it.

 

 

Now it’s time to include a sentiment, and I used one of the banners included in the embellishments sets by Lemon Owl. Since I am using a lot of white and soft colors I though that black would be the perfect contrast.

 

Finally I added a wood bit from my stash and tha’ts all! My card is finished and ready to be sent to comeone I love 🙂

Clique Into The Holidays Kick Off!

I can’t believe I’m saying this already but.. Happy November!!  What’s happy about November you ask??!  Well, a whole lotta paper crafting goodness here at Clique Kits!  We have two fabulous Limited Edition Kits on deck in November and December on top of our fabulous November Kit ~ Homecoming.  I’m excited to kick of this month showing you what I’m creating with my Clique into the Holidays kit!  This kit is totally packed and ready for you work your creative magic with.  Clique into the Holidays is really all about YOU and however you want to document your holiday!!  Here are some shots of my kit contents spread out first.

And now here is a peak into my Clique into the Holidays mini album, my way!  This is just the bare bones start of my December mini album.  I like to get most of my pages cut and put into my album before I start adding much else to it.  I love to stagger the page sizes and shapes throughout. It really make a mini album like this interactive, interesting and sometimes nice and chunky!!
