I have to tell you those flamingos and pineapples are my favorites. They were the first things I used to adorn my cards…

My daughter’s Vet School white coat ceremony is Saturday!!! I made this card for her. The glassine bag will work perfect to stick a little gift card into. Just what my girl needs … a little $$ to make it through the next 52 weeks of her externships. Yup, I am one proud mama!

Check out this adorable bow! I love that Waffle Flower Crafts die!

My next cards make use of more of the dies in the ephemera die cuts pack. These dies make it so easy to put a card together fast! Can’t decide what paper to use … use 2 and cut them on a diagonal for a different look….

Yes, there was a fabulous Honey Bee Stamp set as well. I used it on this coffee cup I created from an SVGcuts Good Day at the Office digital cut file. It looks like the real deal, doesn’t it. I am going to fill it with chocolates for my office assistant who is retiring. It would make a great teacher gift too. I stamped the sentiment here with VersaMark ink and embossed with gold embossing powder.

The butterfly was stamped on vellum and then embossed with a white embossing powder before I fussy cut it out.

A Quintarium of cards!

Hi CliqueKits readers, Norine here today with some cards for card week!  I’ve been scrapbooking and card making since 1997 and I love being able to share inspiration and techniques with other like minded paper lovers!  I’m very happy to be guesting here today, and even more so when I saw all the yummy things included in the card kit!  Wowzers!!  The variety of papers, embellishments and stamps in the kit made it easy to come up with 5 cards right off the hop!  (I have a philosophy in life….anything worth doing is worth overdoing!  Hence 5 cards in one day!!)

For the first card, I stamped the sentiment on the vellum paper and embossed with white and then colored the back side of the vellum with markers.

The card above has 3 flag banners made from paper in the paper pad.  I thought it would make a cute “happy gestation period” card!

And the gold cardstock in the kit!?  SO many possibilities with that!  Here, I die cut the word and adhered it over top everything else.  And those geometric butterflies.  I die!

This is my favorite card of the lot!  Simple but effective!  I cut the bottom of the Hello There sentiment off.  You can do that y’know!  And stick them right back together when you want to use the whole stamp again!  Again with the white heat embossing and marker coloring on the back.

 

For this last card, I die cut the letters from the gold foil paper with Tim Holtz alphabet dies.  A strip of the same paper along side the striped paper, a bit of twine and a scattering of sequins and you’ve got yourself a fun card!

Spring Card Kit Fun!

Hello! Allie here today, and I am excited to share a few more projects using the Clique Cards Spring kit!

I love the “Mint to Be” quote and thought it was so perfect for the colors in this kit! I will definitely be giving this card to my husband. The mint and gold look so pretty together!

For this fun card, I used the triangle motifs in the On Trend collection! Cutting triangles out of the patterned paper makes the card extra special.

For this card, I mixed the April Main Kit with the card kit! I love how the card kit is so versatile!
