Hey everyone! I know Yearbook usually revolves a bit around pocket scrapbooking, but instead I want to show you a way that you can use your pocket scrapbooking journal cards to create a standard 12 x 12 layout… with a little twist. 🙂
For the base layout of my page I cut this gorgeous laser cut Amy Tangerine paper for the bottom, and a piece of pink floral paper from the Pinkfresh Studios Indigo Hills collection for the top. The pocket cards were cut out from a page of the Simple Stories Posh collection.
I really wanted to keep this layout super simple and highlight the insanely beautiful die cuts in the bottom paper so I decided to make my journaling hidden. I used the wood veneer clips to create tabs for my two end journal cards to fold, exposing my writing.
Fun right?! I decorated the backs of each card as well so there was never a moment not showing off the beauty in this awesome kit. This picture of my daughter was taken at a Tea Room during one of our special “Girl Days.” It was a very feminine day and I think it deserved a very feminine layout. 🙂 She was happy with how it turned out haha!
So how do you all use your pocket cards other than pocket journaling? Do you throw them on more traditional layouts? Use them on cards? I’d love to hear your ideas and don’t forget to check the kit out in it’s entirety HERE if you aren’t signed up already! 🙂
Much love CK friends! Until next time!
