My name is Stephanie Ho and I live on the west coast of Canada near beautiful Vancouver. I’m married to an absolute keeper of a man who patiently puts up with my addiction to paper. I began scrapbooking over ten years ago and I fall more in love with this hobby every time I pull out my supplies to create a new page. I love to document our everyday life – from trips we take to casual date nights to interesting things we stumble upon in our neighborhood In addition to being an avid scrapbooker, card maker and crafter I am also a wannabe chef (I like the eating part more than the cooking part!), a nail polish collector, a latte drinker, a lover of books, an aspiring world traveler and a cupcake connoisseur.
I’m Nicole Martel. I am a wife and a mom of a 3 year old. Currently, I work for NASA Federal Credit Union, 10 hours a day, 4 days a week. When I’m not working, I am at home playing with my son and when he goes to bed at night, I scrap! I tend to have more of a simple/journalistic style. My favorite go-to supply is patterned paper because I can cut it up and use patterns as embellishments on my layouts. I like my layouts nice and neat, free of clutter.
Hello Hello! I am a Southern girl, born and raised. So a little about me…I kicked off with scrapbooking, paper crafts, and mixed media about 17 years ago. Always I’ve been anchored with a strong passion for life art, lots of creative energy, and fearless in working with a mix of product and techniques. I make time on the daily for something creative…sometimes it’s simply jotting down ideas in my sketch book, title ideas in iPad notes and my actual “creating at my art desk” time happens in the evenings and weekends. I’m a night owl and the creative mojo works in the night hour. Ha!
My name is Donna Espiritu, 37 years old from the Philippines currently living in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with hubby who is working here. We’re finally being blessed with our first child after 10 years of marriage. That’s why you’d find most of my subjects are hubby, my nieces, nephews and friends. I started scrapbooking in 2004 after I got married hoping to document our wedding but ended up scrapbooking my first niece’s baby album instead. I consider myself a crafty person ever since and scrapbooking got me really hooked I also dabbled into digital and hybrid crafting later on.
My style has evolved over the years. A fellow scrapbooker told me that there’s a free-style vibe in my designs. I think I’d call it “Eclectic”, I like to mix different kinds of style. Modern, kinda-Shabby, Mixed media at times. I love layers, textures, clusters of embellishments. I love trying out new techniques and make it my own as much as possible. You would also find me upcycling/recycling/altering stuff from time to time. And yes I use them! 🙂
My name is Carolina, I am a 34 years young woman from Chile. I live in Santiago with the love of my life and our little daughter. I have a Bachellors in English and Japanese languages and I work as full time translator in a Canadian company. I started scrapbooking on 2004 with a lot of curiousity and almost no materials, since at that time it was impossible to find anything in Chile. On 2007 I took a break when my baby girl was born and during that period I tried different hobbies, such as crochetting and miniature knitting for Blythe dolls. On 2010 I took back my albums and started again with way more energy and ideas than on my beggining.
I am mainly a layout person, but I also enjoy home decor projects, once a while I make something cute for my house or to give as a present. This year for the very fist time I am working on Project Life and I’ve loved it, maybe as a consequence of this I also discovered the joy of making mini-albums, I am so excited trying out this new format.
Salutations! I’m Sophie. I am a stay at home mummy and my days are filled with stories, blocks, library trips and cooking. It is often through these avenues that a color combination or an idea for a page will inspire me. When my children are sleeping, I can be found playing with paper and glue. My scrapbooking style can be described as fun and colorful and a page often starts with the story I have in mind. I enjoy creating layers and paper piecing on my pages. I like to think that my creations are bright confections that celebrate my blessed life. Playing with different color combinations, stretching the potential of each sheet of paper and using products in non-traditional ways are my favorite things to do when creating. While my pages have evolved over the years, the need to include handwritten journaling remains. I also enjoy creating cards, especially pop-up ones.
My name is Allie and I am 25 years old. I have been married to the most wonderful man since August 2012 and we adopted a sweet blind dog last year. I love them so much and they are my most favorite thing to scrap about! When I’m not scrapbooking you might find me at Starbucks, making delicious cups of coffee for all. I also enjoy reading and watching British TV: Dr. Who, Sherlock, Downton Abbey, Orphan Black—I love it all!
