It’s Donna here once again with another project using the August “Malibu” kit
For today, I am going to share how I decorated the month of August using this colorful and fun kit.
Remember my first post, where I used acetate to make a stencil out of the Scallop cut file? I used that stencil again here in these planner pages.
I love this patterned paper with lots of holographic images. I used some of them as well as some of the printables (Main kit and TN printables) to embellish the squares in my monthly spread. I used a piece of Post-It Note to measure one of the squares and used that as a stencil.
AND these leftovers from the ephemera pack make great templates/stencils too.
These photos were taken before I wrote anything so they’re still clean and pretty. Ha!
First-week page
Second and third-week pages
(I used a mixture of distress inks and watercolors)
Of course, a handmade paper clip is a must. I made 3!
I recommend using a strong adhesive for a sturdy hold. I used felt cloth as backing to the paper clips.
I hope you liked my project! Would love to read your comments!
Thanks for dropping by and happy crafting
