Can you tell us a little bit about your creative process.

My creative process usually gets fueled by looking at social media and fashion for inspiration. I get a lot of ideas from browsing the internet and while shopping online for clothing.

Where and when are you most creative?

I’m most creative at night time, especially when I lay in bed and finally have a second to think about everything. A lot of my ideas and designs come to me while laying in bed when I’m trying to sleep.

What are some of your must have supplies?

When it comes to scrapbooking my must have items are manilla tags and flair badges.

Who are some of your influences?

My graphic’s arts teacher at school, Kelly & Jeff Mindell, Kate Albrecht (Mr.Kate), Kanye West, and Troye Sivan.

3 things people probably do not know about you.

Most people don’t realize I’m a 17 year old boy running SharBearCrafts, I can’t wait to go to college, and I have a huge passion for fashion and style.

Favorite:

  • Movie – Nerve
  • Candy – Chewy Sweet-Tarts
  • Drink – 7-11 Slurpee’s
  • Music –  Beyonce
  • Color – Gold
  • TV Show – Chelsea on Netflix

Who are some of your favorite designers in the industry?

Some of my favorite designers in the industry include Amy Tangerine, Liz Kartchner, and Maggie Holmes.

What inspired you to design your first stamp set?

I was inspired to design my first stamp set because there were designs and images I wanted but couldn’t find, so I decide to make them myself.

Can you tell us about Sharbear Crafts and how you got started?

SharBearCrafts was established in the summer of 2012 and is run by myself and the help of my mother, Sharon. I opened the shop when I was 13 years old (I’m currently 17). The shop all started because of my love and passion for creating and all things business. I do everything from the posting on social media to ordering new products, packing orders, and the customer service from the basement of my home.
