Hey folks! I’m really excited to share with you today my first project using the August kit: Ambrosia

I just love the colors and overall design of this kit! I can’t wait to share my projects with you all.

Speaking of projects, I made something really different than my usual layouts. I tried a simpler approach using this kit. I had a couple of friends who kind of stopped creating scrapbook layouts because they don’t have time anymore they said. I am dedicating the first three layouts I created using this kit to those friends of mine who wanted to scrap again. I kept this pretty simple so they’ll not be overwhelmed. I made two layouts in less than an hour. I know some can make more than a couple in shorter time, but I realized I still procrastinate even with simpler layouts.

I created a video tutorial of how this page came about. Creating the video, uploading and making this blog post entry took me longer than creating the layout itself, lol! 😀
