Clique Cards Holiday Edition: Cutting File Fun

Hello,  Tyra here and I’m back with more holiday cards created using Clique Cards Holiday Edition. This time I used the exclusive cutting files that come with this kit!

When I create special occasion or holiday cards, I love to use silver and gold foil-like paper for its sparkle and shine.  The results are beautiful, however photographing foil paper is a entirely different thing.  So, I hope these pictures allow you to see how using special textured paper and cutting files makes designing special occasion cards easy:

Merry and Bright Clique Holiday Cards Tyra Babington

For the first card, I used the “Merry and Bright” cutting file as the main card sentiment.

I used the “Happy Holidays” as the main sentiment as well.  The gold christmas tree is also a cutting file and here it is used as extra embellishment.

The ornament cutting file is part of a two-piece set, however I used the decorate overlay as the main design element in this card.  I also resized a few Christmas tree cutting files and added  them to the shaker bag, along with other glittery goodness.

I hope I have inspired you to get out your cutting files and start creating! Thanks so much for stopping by the blog!
