Yearbook: Creating a Photo Strip or Collage

Happy Tuesday! I, Allie, am traditionally a 1-2 photo scrapbooker. I almost always use 4″x6″ photos, and have a hard time branching outside of that. I envy the variety of sizes and quantities that other scrapbookers use on their layouts! Whenever I catch myself in a 4″x6″ one-photo rut, I like to mix it up with a photo strip or photo collage! I love the look of photobooth strips, but am eextremely challenged when it comes to Photoshop. My secret weapon? PicMonkey! PicMonkey is a free program available online where you can upload and edit photos. It’s easy to make a photostrip!

1. Select the collage button and upload your photos.

2. Select “Ducks in a Row” for a photo strip (but there are many collage options available for whatever suits your fancy). You can arrange your photos in any order that you choose.

3. And the photo strip is created. From there, you can save it to your computer and print away!

Easy, right? Here’s the layout I created using the photo strip!

I love the unique color combo in November’s Kit. I never would have thought to pair those colors with fall layouts, but I think it worked perfectly! I hope you found this helpful!
